Thanks to everyone for participating in our poll and providing some great feedback on the site.  There were quite a few interesting suggestions in the comments, as well as on the feedback board, and I’ll be experimenting with a number of them  over the coming days.  Here’s sneak peak at some of the things we’re working on (in no particular order):

  • a My Favorites folder for permanently storing your stickies
  • ignoring/hiding sub-threads within a post
  • a user-submitted best-of listing of the funniest or most interesting posts
  • highlighting the newest replies in a thread since your last refresh
  • auto-collapsing stickies when you log off and log back in
  • (hopefully) improved iPhone and Blackberry support
  • fixing the problem with having to double post to submit a post or reply

At first glance these all seem very doable, but I won’t know for sure until I start working on it. In the meantime, things will probably be quiet for a while so enjoy the site, but remember to step outside every now and again for your daily dose of vitamin D!

    I agree with mother - I think a classifieds board would be great - just think how we’d reduce consumerism :)

    So answer something for me - will you tell your child about how you stole UB’s brand, platform, idea, etc? I can’t help think how wrong this is. Sorry but it’s a fact.

    I’m glad you find cap locks/repeater annoying! She’s really wreaking havoc with the Sarah Palin rumor, as you no doubt know. Could you boot her off? I’m worried she’s ruining the site.
